Hazardous Waste Collection Event at the DPW, 9-1 pm
A friendly reminder, on Saturday, April 8, from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm, the DPW offers a FREE hazardous waste collection event! This includes certain paints, cleaners, car fluids, batteries, insecticides, and products that may be flammable or contain hazardous chemicals. The Town of Nantucket encourages homeowners and modestly-sized commercial waste generators to drop off these materials for proper disposal at the DPW, 188 Madaket Road. (Second white gate after the Landfill entrance).
Please note: Latex paint is non-toxic and will not be accepted at this event.
