This July, head out to any location on the island with your smartphone,
snap a picture of the species you see, upload it to the @inaturalistorg app and join the Nantucket Land Council for Bioblitz 2022!
You can document nearly any living thing you find – fish, crabs, insects, flowers, trees, etc. to help document the many special species found on Nantucket.
You can also join the Linda Loring Nature Foundation every Friday in July for their “Guided Nature Exploration” series at 110 Eel Point Rd – July 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29 from 10 am – 11:30 am. Here, an NLC staff member or associate will be present to give tips on “How to BioBlitz!”
LLNF’S “Guided Nature Exploration” sessions are free and open to the public though registration is required!
Go explore with them! Thank you to @loring_nature_fnd@ackconservation and @nantucketlandbank for protecting and preserving our many open spaces on the island!
