Clean Water for All!

Footprints is excited to announce Nantucket Land Council’s special editions to their Clean Water: Topics on Tap webinar series. Join them for these FREE Zoom presentations on important Nantucket water-related topics with local experts and national consultants.

On Thursday, March 18, the topic will focus on Nantucket Harbor with a panel discussion on current challenges facing our harbor and marine waters, and projects underway to address these issues. Also being offered are common practices we can adapt to ensure the vitality and sustainability of our water resources.

“Clean Water for All” starts at 4:30 pm. You can register for free HERE.

On Thursday, April 15, learn about “Nantucket Waterkeeper”. David Prescott of Save the Bay and the Waterkeeper Alliance Council will be part of this discussion on how clean water affects all sections of our community and how we each play a role in protecting and preserving this critical resource. Thais Fournier, Town of Nantucket Water Resource Specialist, will discuss everyday practices that island residents can learn to keep our waters safe and healthy.

Listen in to all these front-line partners who are protecting, preserving, and sustaining our waters for Nantucket at 4:30 pm. You can register for free HERE.
